Lipinutragen Srl is a spin-off initiative of the Italian National Council of Research (CNR) born from the research in lipidomics of radical stress and trans fatty acids, carried out by scientists at ISOF Institute of the CNR Research Area in Bologna (Italy).
The research and products carried out at Lipinutragen are focused on the cell membrane transformations, because its optimal equilibrium status can be compromised by an improper life style, a wrong diet, stress, exposure to damaging agents such as pollutants, free radicals, inflammation o other pathological conditions, and it is intimately related to hereditary factors and genetics.
The evaluation of the membrane functional status is a very useful and highly specific information, which can also allow for the individuation of preliminary stages of future cellular discomfort. Based on the most innovative scientific knowledge in lipidomics and radical stress, Lipinutragen has developed an original method for the evaluation of the global equilibrium of the cell membrane, in physiological and pathological conditions, the:

FAT PROFILE® |
In the lipidomic profile there is the possibility that one or more fatty acids can be out of normal ranges, poining out the need of supplementation. The membrane lipid components are considered for their structures and roles, and also in the context of their combination, “weighing” their molecular contributions and evaluating the outcome in comparison with the normal conditions. The FAT PROFILE® represents a step forward in the present analytical approaches for the lipid evaluation, focusing at individuating integration strategies for the recover and maintenance of the equilibrium of one of the most essential biological compartments: the cell membrane.
